EXCLUSIVE: Email Reveals Why CDC Didn’t Issue Alert on COVID Vaccines and Myocarditis

CDC officials were worried about causing panic.

The nation’s top public health agency did not send an alert on COVID-19 vaccines and heart inflammation because officials were concerned they would cause panic, according to an email obtained by The Epoch Times.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 2021 drafted an alert for heart inflammation, or myocarditis, and the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines. Officials prepared to release it to the public, taking steps including having the agency’s director review the language, internal documents show.

The alert would have been sent through the CDC’s Health Alert System (HAN) network, which goes to state and local officials, as well as doctors, across the country.

The alert was never sent.

In the May 25, 2021, email, exclusively obtained by The Epoch Times, a CDC official revealed why some officials were against sending the alert.

“The pros and cons of an official HAN are what the main discussion are right now,” Dr. Sara Oliver, the official, wrote in the missive. “I think it’s likely to be a HAN since that is CDC’s primary method of communications to clinicians and public health departments, but people don’t want to appear alarmist either.”

Dr. Oliver was corresponding with an employee of either Pfizer or Moderna. The employee’s name and email were redacted in the copy obtained by The Epoch Times.

Dr. Oliver did not respond to a request for comment. Asked about the email, the CDC did not address Dr. Oliver’s statement.

The “CDC’s apparent decision to not immediately issue a formal alert to clinicians warning them about the increased risk of myocarditis and pericarditis in vaccinated individuals is not only inexcusable, it’s malpractice,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), the top Republican on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee’s Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, told The Epoch Times in an email.

“CDC should never prioritize its own public perception over the public’s health, and those who made the decision to do so must be held fully accountable,” he added.

It remains unclear which official or officials decided not to send the alert at a time when doctors across the country were seeing patients with myocarditis report to emergency rooms with chest pain and other symptoms.

Kim Witczak, a drug safety advocate who helped convince regulators to add a suicide warning to antidepressants, said the CDC’s move to downplay heart inflammation fits into a longstanding pattern of transparency issues with agencies and drug companies.

“I can’t even believe that this was even a discussion where they’re like, ‘We don’t want to alarm them.’ We do need to alarm people. We need people to be aware that this is a real potential [problem] that could happen,” Ms. Witzcak told The Epoch Times.

Those kinds of choices have helped erode consumer confidence in public health, she added.

Dr. Tom Frieden, a former CDC director who now serves as president and CEO of the global health project Resolve to Save Lives, also reviewed the messages.

“It is important to carefully weigh the risk of COVID-19 against the risk and benefit of any treatment, including the vaccine. The vaccine safety systems worked—they found a very rare but real signal of myocarditis soon after distributing vaccines that were administered to adolescents,“ Dr. Frieden told The Epoch Times via email. ”When public health officials see a safety signal, they must investigate whether it is ‘true’ or ‘random.’ It is important to consider multiple data angles and gather evidence from partners on the ground, including clinicians. This needs to be done quickly but carefully and thoroughly.”

Moderna, Pfizer Given Heads Up

U.S. authorities identified myocarditis and a related condition, pericarditis, before the vaccines were cleared as events that could be caused by the vaccines. People who received the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines began reporting myocarditis and pericarditis to health authorities and the vaccine manufacturers shortly after the vaccines were rolled out in December 2020.

A signal in the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), which the CDC helps manage, triggered in February 2021, the same month Israel warned the CDC and U.S. drug regulators of a “large number” of cases, primarily among young males.

Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the CDC’s director at the time, first addressed the issue publicly in April 2021. She falsely said the agency had seen no reports and that no signal had triggered, while disclosing the CDC was in touch with U.S. military officials on cases among service members.

In reality, hundreds of cases had been reported to the CDC, including some that resulted in death; the CDC either missed or ignored the signal in VAERS; and the CDC helped hide a signal that emerged from a Department of Veterans Affairs system, internal documents and other data reviewed by The Epoch Times show.

The CDC did communicate to certain state officials about myocarditis issues starting in April 2021 and told some doctors in a May 14, 2021, email that the agency was monitoring reports of the inflammation following Pfizer and Moderna vaccination.

Shortly after that missive was sent, the CDC began considering next steps, according to the newly obtained documents.

Dr. Oliver on May 21, 2021, emailed representatives of Moderna and Pfizer to warn them that the CDC was planning to go public with information on the myocarditis cases.

“Wanted to make sure you were aware before anything was made public,” Dr. Oliver wrote in one of the messages, which were obtained by The Epoch Times and are being reported in this story for the first time. “You may be aware, but there have been concerns for myocarditis seen in adolescents and young adults after receipt of the mRNA vaccines. Thankfully, the cases appear relatively mild, but there is concern that we need to make providers aware of this issue. CDC is discussing communication options, and we may have more information tomorrow.”

The Moderna and Pfizer vaccines both use modified messenger RNA (mRNA) technology.

Moderna and Pfizer did not respond to requests for comment.

One representative from Pfizer sent information to Dr. Oliver and colleagues ahead of a planned meeting, the emails show. The information was redacted.

Moderna officials met with the CDC on May 22, 2021. The discussion covered how the CDC was considering saying there was a “possible causal relationship,” or that the vaccines might be causing the inflammation, according to the emails.

Moderna asked how government officials thought the myocarditis was being caused, or the mechanism of action.

“My current understanding is that it isn’t necessarily a defined mechanism, but that we’ve seen very similar/consistent findings where mRNA vaccines have been used all occurring within days of receipt of an mRNA vaccine (although it could be that systemic inflammation plays a role),” Dr. Oliver wrote.

A representative with one of the companies then checked in on May 25, 2021, asking if the CDC had decided how to communicate to the public about myocarditis.

“Apologies that there hasn’t been more solid communication on this. Unfortunately, I still don’t have a firm update to share. Things have been changing rapidly here,” Dr. Oliver wrote. In the next email, she wrote that some officials did not want to cause panic.

“I am not trying to be vague on purpose- I really don’t know,” she said. “If I had to guess, I would think it’s likely to be a HAN, but can’t say for sure yet. I anticipate there will be firm decisions within the next 24 hours so I'll let you know.”

Scaled-Down Response

A two-page draft of the alert obtained by The Epoch Times was completely redacted. The Epoch Times is working on acquiring an unredacted copy.

The draft was circulated internally, including to Dr. Walensky, emails show. The messages indicated the CDC chose not to send the alert after consulting with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The CDC said on its website on May 20, 2021, that a review of post-vaccination myocarditis found “relatively few reports” and that rates of myocarditis “have not differed from expected baseline rates.”

Instead of the alert, the CDC decided to post another webpage called clinical considerations. The page, posted on May 27, 2021, said that “increased cases of myocarditis and pericarditis have been reported in the United States after mRNA COVID-19 vaccination (Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna)” since April 2021.

The page also said the CDC and the agency’s partners were investigating the issue before recommending COVID-19 vaccination for everyone aged 12 and older.

A draft of the page was shared with Moderna and Pfizer at least several hours before publication, according to the emails.

A CDC spokeswoman said that safety data prompted the CDC to post information on myocarditis online “for public awareness and to provide guidance to clinicians.” She said the clinical considerations reached the same 300,000 provider recipients a HAN alert would have.

“A clinical consideration is useful when information needs to be updated as circumstances evolve, and more data is collected and evaluated,” the spokeswoman said.

In a separate email, she said that “CDC’s focus and concern on myocarditis after COVID-19 vaccination is well known and documented.”

An FDA spokesperson declined to detail its influence on the shelved alert.

“The FDA continues to work collaboratively with the CDC to monitor for known safety risks related to vaccines and determine how best to ensure any relevant safety information is conveyed to the public, health care providers and clinicians,” the spokesperson told The Epoch Times in an email. “After thorough assessment and when the potential risk was clear, the FDA updated the fact sheets for the COVID-19 vaccines and communicated with the public in a manner that was determined to be appropriate for the assessed risk.”

Federal rules require the FDA to add a warning about a “a clinically significant hazard as soon as there is reasonable evidence of a causal association with a drug; a causal relationship need not have been definitely established.”

The FDA on June 25, 2021, added warnings about myocarditis to the labels for the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

 

The Diabolical Dozen: The Twelve "Most-Significant COVID Events"

When a new ‘medical’ product causes millions of deaths and life-altering adverse events, this should qualify as a “significant event.”

I occasionally enjoy publishing “List” articles.

To me, these essays can provide larger context on important topics and can assist writers in their quest to connect dots that identify the key events that explain how we got to our “Twilight Zone” New Normal.

Today’s list is “The Dozen Most Important/Significant Events of Covid.”

This compilation is of course one person’s opinion and the list and rankings are subject to later revisions as new facts or news emerge.

1. All Important ‘Truth-Seeking’ Organizations Became Completely Captured

COMMENT: This development largely occurred before “official” Covid, but I rank this development first because nothing that later occurred would have occurred if this hadn’t taken place. That is, if just a few important organizations weren’t completely captured, the world might not have been (forever?) changed.

Little did we know in 1983 how much influence this man would later have on the world.

In hindsight, the emergence of Anthony Fauci as the leader of the most important US government “science” agency was very significant. Fauci’s influence spiked tremendously after the AIDS scare of the early and mid-1980s. That is, one needs to employ a longer-term historic view to fully appreciate what’s happening today… and why and how these things happened.

(Of course, I could go back much further – like to the Rockefeller Foundation, but to save space, I’ll do that later). 

2. Experimental mRNA ‘Vaccines’ Were Created and Then Administered…

The shots were often mandatory or at least coerced with those who refused to get their shots often experiencing myriad negative consequences. The rollout of Covid shots and then “boosters” has to be at or near the top of my list because these injections (received by billions of people) likely produced millions of life-altering adverse events and deaths.

3. Chinese Officials Notify the World Health Organization That a ‘Novel’ Virus That Causes Pneumonia-Like Symptoms has Been Identified in Wuhan, China…

Chinese officials contacted officials at the WHO on December 31, 2019. 

Comment: If officials hadn’t made this observation and phone call, it’s very possible nobody would have ever heard of a new coronavirus and the disease dubbed “Covid-19” would never have been identified. No phone call to the WHO likely = “no draconian Covid responses.”

4. The Covid PCR Test is Created, Patented, and – After Approximately Mid-March 2020 – WidelyAdministered…

Comment: Absent the creation and regulatory approval of the PCR diagnostic test, a Covid pandemic probably wouldn’t have even happened. For example, before the PCR test was created and then widely utilized, no Covid pandemic existed.

5. Large Numbers of ‘Covid Deaths’ are Identified First in Northern Italy and Then in Cities like New York, New Orleans, and Detroit…

Comment: Everyone who allegedly died from Covid reportedly had “tested positive” via the PCR test. Absent this test, these deaths wouldn’t have been labeled as “Covid deaths.”

In retrospect, it was important that millions of new “cases” be identified, but, just as importantly, that some large percentage of these cases were later cited as the cause of large numbers of deaths. Thus, we had not just a “novel virus,” but a “deadly” virus as well.

It’s also worth noting that Covid “cases” can and are labeled as “asymptomatic.” That is, all cases of “Covid” are not “medical cases” that require medical treatment. One word – “cases” – ended up producing unprecedented fear/panic in the population. This fear was used to justify…

6. Almost in Unison, in Nations Around the World, Presidents and Prime Ministers Ordered Lockdowns…

…to prevent spread of this “deadly” new virus and/or to “slow the curve” and/or to prevent hospitals from being over-run with “Covid” patients.

Comment: These national leaders were acting on the advice of “public health experts” (like Anthony Fauci and the UK’s Jeremy Farrar). Governors, mayors, and bureaucrats at various “public health agencies” actually enforced and implemented the lockdowns. It was a team effort of mass groupthink.

7. No Significant Organization or Leaders Challenged the Necessity of Global Lockdowns…

COMMENT:  “Significant Events” include not only policies and mandates that did ensue, but events that did not occur.

No pushback regarding the “Covid response” is the best example of potentially important actions that did not occur. 

Another example is that no investigations were ever pursued that might establish that many people had already become sick with symptoms that were almost identical to Covid-19. Because of this, the public never learned that this alleged “deadly” virus might not have been “deadly” at all.

(This, I’m pretty sure, explains why my “early spread” articles have been ignored by everyone who matters.)

8. The Censorship Industrial Complex Exerts its Control; ‘Spreading Disinformation’ Becomes a Life-Changing Offense…

Comment: The legacy “mainstream” media and almost all of the social media platforms outlawed,  deplatformed, or restricted the reach of views that challenged the “authorized narrative” put forth by the official experts.

This effort was clearly coordinated and included many government officials. Because of this program, most people in the world were never aware that the claims of officials might be dubious, spurious, or false.

Because of these censorship and intimidation programs, fear remained widespread, which made most citizens go along with draconian responses like lockdowns, masks, and, later, coerced or mandatory “vaccines.”

Also, “disinformation, misinformation, and mal-information” programs were expanded to make many non-Covid topics taboo or disallowed. For example, questioning election results, the narrative that “Russia hacked an election,” or protesting the carnage that resulted from the George Floyd “protests” (riots) were now risky or even banned “free speech” exercises.

In short, Covid speech rules were expanded to intimidate or punish people who hold views that do not match those of the Establishment classes.

Arguably, the brazen attack on free speech and the jaw-dropping growth of the “Censorship Industrial Complex” is the most significant event in world history as this precludes or neuters skepticism, the practice of the real Scientific Method (and even the Socratic Method), and allows those with absolute power to acquire even more power and control.

9. The Death of ‘Transparency…’

Comment: Increasingly, official or important data is now kept from the public. Requests for information are ignored or, when some documents are belatedly produced (after expensive and time-consuming Freedom of Information Requests are filed), the documents are heavily redacted.

Documents and data that should not be “top secret” and have nothing to do with “national security” are increasingly labeled as “top secret” and off-limits to the public.

Take-away: As it turned out, the “public” does not have a “right to know…” even about issues that directly and indirectly affect the lives of every member of the public. “Informed consent” is no longer possible.

10. One Covid-Mitigation Measure – Mail-In Ballots – Made Election Fraud Far More Likely or Easy to Achieve…

….which would threaten legitimate or trust-worthy democratic elections.

11. The Department of Justice, FBI, and Most Members of Congress Made an Example of the January 6 ‘Insurrectionists’…

On the surface this event had nothing to do with Covid. However, the arrest and detention of so many innocent protesters sent the message that any dissenters who try to speak on any non-authorized topic will be harshly punished by the State.

The treatment of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is another example where this important “message” was sent by the State. The message: “We are in charge. Do not challenge our control or this is what will happen to you.”

12. Vaccine Passports and ’15-Minute Cities’ are Created…

Comment: Under the guise of protecting the vaccinated from the non-vaccinated, digital surveillance becomes commonplace. (Largely unstated was the fact that if a “vaccine” really worked, the vaccinated wouldn’t have to worry about contracting this disease from the non-vaccinated).

Among the world’s liberty defenders, the great fear is that vaccine passports will be expanded to monitor myriad “dangerous” or “harmful” activities, including efforts to reduce one’s “carbon footprint” to fight an ever greater health threat than Covid…Climate Change.

This is already happening in many cities, which are dubbed “15-minute cities.” The idea is that people should be allowed to travel only about 15 miles from their homes, which will reduce their carbon footprint, which will, supposedly, help save the planet.

Of course, the main idea is that people can be controlled and monitored by digital surveillance, which was widely implemented for the first time during the hysteria of Covid.

If even more digital surveillance and “social credit” initiatives are implemented (including digital currency, which might effectively ban cash transactions), this item would also move much higher up my list of “most significant events of our Covid times.”

As Dr. Meryl Nass and others are trying to warn the world, secret deliberations currently taking place to give the World Health Organization total control over “health emergencies” would make such “solutions” far more likely to occur in the future.

Not all Developments Were Negative…

I should note I can identify a few positive developments in the last four or so years. For example…

Substack became a popular writers’ platform and much of the narrative-challenging commentary and research emanated from these Substack authors, writers, and thinkers most of us would have never heard of if Substack had not been created.

Millions of world inhabitant learned we are not alone…that plenty of other people think like we do, which has no doubt neutered the effort to “isolate” dissenters (although, arguably, we have been “herded” into a few corrals of contrarian free speech.)

At this writing, it remains to be seen if Substack’s potential growth and influence will be allowed to continue.

Brownstone Institute emerged as a force for sanity and leadership against authoritarianism.

Elon Musk bought Twitter, now X, which, largely, allows free speech. However, it’s clear that a coordinated effort (for example, from orchestrated advertising bans) has been organized to neuter or shutdown X as it’s currently operating.

More than 90 percent of the world opted – via their own free will – to pass on future Covid boosters. It’s even possible that fewer people are now getting their annual flu “vaccines.”

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. managed to write and publish perhaps the most important non-fiction book of our times, The Real Anthony Fauci. Despite never being reviewed by a mainstream newspaper or magazine, the book still became the No. 1 non-fiction best-seller in the world for many months.

The book does an excellent job chronicling Covid lies, but its real significance is probably that it made far more people question the entire government-run healthcare/science establishment.

From autism to statins to anti-depressants, millions of people who never questioned the “pill-for-every-ill” narrative are now doing so. Kennedy is also running for president although every Establishment organization is  (of course) conspiring to defeat his campaign.

A yuppie-looking journalist named Tucker Carlson became the most popular journalist on the planet … but was fired by Fox News after his narrative-questioning went a bridge too far. Still, the fact that a prominent journalist like Carlson became immensely popular with so many citizens is probably worth noting.

Significant COVID-19 Vaccine Study Censored by Medical Journal Within 24 Hours

A systematic review of 325 autopsies showing COVID-19 vaccination caused or significantly contributed to 74 percent of deaths was removed from The Lancet’s preprint SSRN server within 24 hours, adding to an increasing number of censored studies on the potential harms of COVID-19 vaccines.

The study, published July 5, examined all autopsies published in peer-reviewed literature to determine whether COVID-19 vaccination caused or contributed to the person’s death.

Researchers searched all published autopsy and necropsy reports related to COVID-19 vaccination through May 18, 2023, resulting in 678 studies. After implementing inclusion criteria, they chose 44 papers containing 325 autopsy cases and one necropsy case. A panel of three expert physicians independently reviewed each case to determine whether COVID-19 vaccination was a direct cause or significant factor in each death.

Of 325 autopsies reviewed, 240 deaths, or 74 percent, were independently adjudicated as “directly due to or significantly contributed to by COVID-19 vaccination.”

Findings showed the most affected organ system in COVID-19 vaccine-associated death was the cardiovascular system at 53 percent, followed by the hematological system at 17 percent, the respiratory system at 8 percent, and multiple organ systems at 7 percent. Three or more organ systems were affected in 21 cases. The mean time from vaccination to death was 14.3 days—with most deaths occurring within a week of the last vaccine dose.

The study results suggest a high likelihood of a causal link between COVID-19 vaccines and deaths in most cases. Yet, the government’s narrative is still that people do not die after COVID-19 vaccination, lead author Dr. Peter McCullough, a practicing internist, cardiologist, and epidemiologist, said in an interview on EpochTV’s “American Thought Leaders: Now.” “The striking cases were people who were perfectly healthy and had no other medical problems. The only new thing in their life was the vaccine, and they died with an obvious syndrome like a blood clot or heart damage—myocarditis.”

Within 24 hours, the study was removed and replaced with the following notice:

“This preprint has been removed by Preprints with the Lancet because the study’s conclusions are not supported by the study methodology.”

According to Dr. McCullough, the authors were not given an explanation for how their conclusions failed to meet the study methodology.

In an email to The Epoch Times, co-author Dr. Harvey Risch, a professor emeritus and senior research scientist in epidemiology at Yale, said he believes the paper was censored by The Lancet’s publisher, Elsevier, at the behest of the Trusted New Initiative (TNI), or a derivative organization of the TNI, based on the “study results providing strong evidence that some COVID-19 vaccine injections can have severe adverse effects leading to death.”

“This is my impression, given that the paper was removed at its preprint stage, before scientific peer review, and without any other professional scientific involvement in the censorship decision,” Risch added.

The Trusted News Initiative is an industry collaboration of major news and global tech organizations whose stated mission is to combat the spread of harmful vaccine disinformation.

TNI partners alert each other to disinformation that poses an “immediate threat to life so content can be reviewed promptly by platforms, whilst publishers ensure they don’t unwittingly republish dangerous falsehoods.”

Dr. McCullough said the project was approved through the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health, and the team used a standard scientific evaluation methodology known as the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses, to search through hundreds of papers to identify 44 that met the criteria before submitting them for adjudication.

Although the study didn’t go through a formal review, The Lancet accepted it for publication on its preprint server. To be published on SSRN, a paper must undergo “usual SSRN checks” and a “Lancet-specific check for appropriateness and transparency,” which the paper undoubtedly passed.

Dr. McCullough has broadly published more than 1,000 publications and 660 citations on a range of topics within the National Library of Medicine and is familiar with the process and standards that must be met.

The study’s co-authors, including top pathologist Dr. Roger Hodkinson, former chairman of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada’s examination committee in pathology, Dr. Paul Alexander, former Trump administration official at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Dr. Risch, are all accomplished in their fields.

Dr. McCullough said that before removal, the study was experiencing “hundreds of reviews per minute” and is now on the Zenodo preprint server and currently under review at another high-level journal.

“When it comes to the vaccines, papers get special attention. I think because there are individuals who don’t want to have a fair presentation of data when it comes to safety,” said Dr. McCullough. “This was simply what happened when someone died after a vaccine and the family, or the doctor, or the medical examiner requested an autopsy.”

Medical Journals Censor to Control Vaccine Hesitancy

Just as the U.S. government coordinated with social media companies to suppress truthful information about COVID-19 vaccines that may cause vaccine hesitancy, medical journals have censored numerous studies by accomplished experts about the potential harms of COVID-19 vaccination, often without explanation.

Elsevier, in October 2021, censored a different study by Dr. McCullough and molecular biologist Dr. Jessica Rose days after it was published in Current Problems in Cardiology. The study analyzed data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) and found myocarditis spiked in teenagers after COVID-19 vaccination.

The retraction notice said the publisher temporarily removed the paper, and a “replacement will appear as soon as possible in which the reason for the removal of the article will be specified, or the article will be reinstated.”

In an email to Dr. McCullough, Elsevier said the journal was unwilling to publish the paper—after it had already published it. A reason was not provided, and the article was never reinstated. The National Library of Medicine’s website states the article was withdrawn at the ”request of the author(s) and/or editor.”

A paper reanalyzing earlier sponsored research (pdf) by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) showing mRNA COVID-19 vaccines were safe for pregnant women found spontaneous abortions were 7 to 8 times higher than the authors reported. The researchers concluded that key policy decisions were made based on questionable and unreliable data. After immense pressure, the researchers retracted their reanalysis of the study.

A peer-reviewed paper published in June 2021 in Vaccines questioning the safety of COVID-19 vaccination and vaccine policy was retracted after the journal experienced pressure to pull the study and numerous editorial board members threatened to resign. The study’s authors claimed that for “three deaths prevented by [COVID-19] vaccination, we have to accept two inflicted by vaccination.”

The disgruntled editors feared the paper, which had over 425,000 views prior to retraction, would feed “antivaccine conspiracy theories” and be used by people to claim COVID-19 vaccines weren’t safe. The journal promptly retracted the article without providing specifics on how the paper failed in its methodology and established internal review procedures to ensure similar papers would not be published.

An academic study published in January 2023 in BMC Infectious Diseases was retracted after survey data estimated COVID-19 vaccine fatalities were as high as 278,000—showing a major discrepancy with the CDC’s VAERS database. The editors retracted the study over the “validity of the conclusions drawn after publication,” and a post-publication peer review concluded the “methodology was inappropriate as it does not prove causal inference of mortality, and limitations of the study were not adequately described.”

A paper in Toxicology Reports, published by Elsevier in 2021 questioning why children were being vaccinated against COVID-19, was retracted by the founding editor on the basis of “clear evidence that the findings are unreliable” and the focus of the paper was on a “critically important public health issue” and exhibited bias. At the time the study was published, U.S. regulatory agencies were in the process of authorizing experimental COVID-19 vaccines for children.

Dr. Vinay Prasad, professor of epidemiology and biostatistics at the University of California and author of more than 450 academic articles, wrote there should be more discussion about vaccines, but public debate on side effects is being censored. In a 2022 article, Prasad said censors are unaccountable and are as fallible as those they are trying to censor.

“This is especially true in science, where, as history shows us, consensus views can turn out to be false, while controversial or heretical ideas can be vindicated.”

How The Flu "Disappeared" During The COVID Era

One of the biggest mysteries of “the pandemic” involves the supposed disappearance of the flu. Did the flu really disappear during the covid hysteria era, or is something else afoot?

Here’s the grand mystery, in meme format.

Now, during the confusion and panic of the last few years, there have been lots of explanations advanced about the supposed disappearance of the flu. The lockdowners and their credentialed institutions often claimed that masked worked (lol) to stop the flu, despite not working for covid. Others claimed that covid had some kind of viral dominance effect that defeated influenza strains.

But neither explanation really solves the “where did the flu go” mystery.

The evidence seems to point to two main reasons for the flu’s disappearance: the physical disappearance of flu testing kits and a misunderstanding of what the flu actually means.

The flu tests were not physically available in healthcare systems

The Dossier surveyed several individuals and organizations with access to hospital system records and supply chain management, and we pooled together lots of anecdotal information to paint a greater picture of what happened.

We found that, at least in the United States, there was virtually no access to flu testing during the covid hysteria years, particularly from 2020 to 2021. Virtually all testing manufacturers pivoted to covid testing, leaving the influenza kits behind. According to Pharma and Government Health, Covid was a much bigger priority, both from a healthcare perspective and a business perspective, so the flu industry was no longer lucrative and kicked to the curb.

The second reason, however, is even more important.

The flu is not understood in its proper context

Prior to the establishment of the covid testing industrial complex (which brought in well over $100 billion a year at its peak), flu was almost always diagnosed by symptoms, not by a swab test. And again, covid symptoms are virtually identical to flu symptoms. In the vast majority of cases, what is “the flu” is traditionally understood not as a viral influenza diagnosis but a general diagnosis of countless potential symptoms categorized in a broad category as “flu.” Very few doctor-diagnosed “flu” cases actually come from influenza strains. This is why it is the perfect rationale to understand covid as the flu but with scarier branding. Both flu and covid share the same symptoms, so a potential flu case/illness/death instead was generally diagnosed as a covid case/illness/death.

But enough from your humble correspondent. Let’s read a more detailed response from someone who knows this issue very well.

I also posed this question to Dr Norman Pieniazek (follow him on Twitter), a renowned molecular biologist who worked at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as the head of its molecular diagnostic laboratory for 24 years. Dr Pieniazek is an expert in PCR testing diagnostics and has a fascinating perspective on the shoddy science behind “the pandemic.”

Here’s his reply to my question:

Did the flu disappear during the COVID-19 pandemic?

I will try to answer this question; however, first, I must explain the terms common cold and flu (influenza).

Do you know that over 200 viruses cause colds and that people in the United States suffer from an estimated 1 billion colds yearly (1)?

Nonetheless, can we clearly say who suffers from the common cold and the flu?

What about PCR, the technique used to monitor the cases of COVID-19?

Unfortunately, PCR was found to be impractical for the diagnosis of infections of the respiratory tract for at least two reasons.

The first problem is the diagnostic sample.

Mucus samples, taken from deep nostrils (nasal swab), throat (oropharyngeal swab), and nasopharynx (nasopharyngeal swab), in essence, test the human air filter. The nasal passages have ridges that cause the air to swirl, similar to the Dyson vacuum cleaner principle. As the nasal passages and the whole respiratory tract are lined with mucus, it traps viruses, bacteria, pollen, fungal spores, and dust. This layer with trapped particles is moved by ciliated cells out of the airways. When the mucus is tested with PCR, detecting a part of a virus in the air filter doesn’t mean that this virus caused the infection. This problem with swabs has been known for a long time. The consensus is that broncho-alveolar lavage (BAL) is the most appropriate specimen for detecting respiratory tract viral infections. Unfortunately, collecting the BAL sample is complex and may not be approved by the patient.

The second problem was signaled above.

With more than 200 possible infection causes (etiology), testing for all suspects is not feasible. While in a scientific study, no stone would be left unturned to diagnose patients enrolled in a project, surveillance cannot be done this way.

CDC has developed a sentinel system for monitoring colds in the US population. This system monitors visits for respiratory illnesses, including fever, cough, or sore throat. Such visits are classified as Influenza-Like Illnesses (ILI). Please note that this designation doesn’t imply laboratory-confirmed influenza and captures patient visits due to all respiratory pathogens that cause similar symptoms. In addition to this system, CDC collects data on confirmed influenza cases; however, only about 1% of samples tested are usually positive. The take-home message is that no one knows how many flu cases are in the US annually. The reported number of ILI may be only the tip of the iceberg.

With the arrival of the Wuhan virus in January 2020, all lessons of prior seasons were forgotten.

People were forced to be tested even when they showed no symptoms. Despite ample evidence to the contrary, PCR done from swabs was suddenly advertised as the gold standard for diagnosis of infections of the respiratory system. Consider another important fact. In a carefully conducted study of hospitalized pneumonia patients diagnosed on classical X-Ray or CAT scans, the cause of the infection (etiology) could not be established in 62% of cases. How is it possible that during the pandemic in the US, there were 107,201,630 COVID infections and 1,166,899 COVID deaths as of today? Where are infections with other viruses? Where are conditions of unknown etiology?

The answer is straightforward. The results of PCR testing just for one virus are meaningless. This scam should be obvious to anyone versed in diagnosing respiratory infections.

 

Follow the COVID Money

If the COVID-19 vaccines have been a disappointment from a public health standpoint in stopping the continuing spread of new variants of the disease, why is Big Pharma as well as its government allies in the FDA, CDC, and NIH still pushing them?

As Deep Throat whispered to Bob Woodward during the Watergate scandal (“Follow the money”), so, too, the American public should be demanding the same of its political leaders: Follow the COVID money to determine why we continue to spend a fortune on something that seems to have only a relatively limited benefit.

But our elected officials are embarrassingly quiet on answering the basic question of who exactly is benefiting from the constant rounds of shots being foisted on or recommended to the American public?

Maybe the silence comes from the fact that the pharmaceutical industry spends more on lobbying than any other industry group. In 2020 big pharma spent over $300 million lobbying officeholders and government officials. It clearly pays off. The research to develop the COVID-19 vaccines was nearly all funded by taxpayers. The distribution of the vaccines, once developed, was further funded nearly entirely by taxpayers. The record-keeping and reporting on the vaccines is also at the expense of taxpayers, and the new repurposed Pfizer drug Paxlovid, used to treat COVID, has been paid for by taxpayers.

If the vaccinations are proving to be ineffective in stopping the march of the disease, are they really worth what the federal government is paying the pharmaceutical industry to manufacture, distribute, and administer them? Is the public being played for suckers by a cabal of industry giants and their friends in the medical bureaucracies?

Just consider a few facts. The pharmaceutical industry is said to spend $5.2 billion annually on television advertising aimed primarily at the consumer. It poured another $9.53 billion into digital advertising aimed at consumers and industry in 2020.

This total of nearly $15 billion spent by Big Pharma on advertising is more than twice what is spent on new cancer drug research. In fact, nine out of 10 of the largest pharmaceutical companies in America spend more on advertising than on research and development.

But there is more. The U.S. government is pushing COVID-19 jabs harder than the companies would ever likely choose to do on their own. This might be the reason: Almost half of the funding that supports the U.S. Food and Drug Administration comes from the very industries it is mandated to oversee.

CDC funding is similar. But it also receives large grants for COVID research from the Bloomberg Family Foundation and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

By contrast, money given by the private sector to the NIH is mostly hidden from the public. More troubling is the fact that the NIH allows its publicly-employed researchers to receive royalty payments from government-funded activities that result in private company income. Present and former NIH researchers received annual royalty payments averaging $9,700 in addition to their taxpayer-funded, biweekly paychecks. Some have been reported to receive as much as $150,000 in annual royalty rewards!

With the government pouring huge amounts of money on the pharmaceutical houses to develop an anti-COVID vaccine, no wonder information about all of the early treatment protocols developed by private-sector doctors working on their own was suppressed by the CDC and shunned by the FDA. Even more depressing was the fact that the media went along with this suppression of free speech and information. Social media companies, for their part, routinely banned and deplatformed any physician speaking contrary to the federal government’s accepted bureaucratic narrative. Why? Do you think the big social media companies might also have profited from the direct-to-consumer advertising of the government-funded products in the same way as traditional media? Do you know a lot of cases where the hand that feeds it is bitten?

This isn’t speculation, it’s big money. Consider: Pfizer expects $32 billion in COVID vaccine sales in 2022. Moderna is forecasting $19 billion in COVID sales with the vaccine being its only current commercial product. Moderna had never produced a vaccine before it developed its COVID shots. Pfizer, BioNTech, and Moderna are reported to be making $1,000 in profit every second of every business day

Big pharmacy chains are also participating in this government largess as well. The big chains earn “…roughly $40 per shot” from the federal government. Since the government provides the pharmacy chains with the vaccines and Paxlovid for free, almost all their charge for administering the shots or dispensing the drug is profit.

There have been at least nine new billionaires created in the vaccine world as a result of COVID-19. No one has counted the new millionaires in COVID-19’s wake. Is there any wonder that the Pfizer CEO would offer the thought that an annual COVID-19 vaccine booster is almost a certainty? And so would his annual multiple million-dollar bonuses for bringing in this kind of business.

But we can reverse all this. A congressional investigation must be launched to shine light on what this crony capitalism is doing to American taxpayers and their health system. Get in touch with your senators and demand that they authorize an investigation of how COVID-19 money has been spent by both the Trump and the Biden administrations.

We need to put some sanity back into how our medical resources are being spent.

NIH Says Moderna Wrongly Left Off Government Scientists From COVID-19 Vaccine Patent

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Moderna are engaged in a dispute over which scientists developed Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine, with the conflict possibly heading to court.

Moderna and government scientists collaborated on the development of the shot and the government asked the company to include a trio of scientists on its patent application. But company officials said in a patent filing in July for a key sequence that’s part of the vaccine that they “have reached a good-faith determination” that the scientists did not invent it.

The filing “took NIH officials by surprise,” a government official familiar with the situation told The Epoch Times in an email on condition of anonymity.

The agency disagrees and a review of the matter determined Drs. Kizzmekia Corbett, Barney Graham, and John Mascola, who all worked with Moderna while at the NIH, are co-inventors of the component and should be named as such.

“Omitting NIH inventors from the principal patent application deprives NIH of a co-ownership interest in that application and the patent that will eventually issue from it,” the official said.

The three scientists, only one of whom still works at NIH, did not respond to requests for comment.

Moderna said in a statement that NIH scientists did not co-invent the mRNA, or modified nucleotide, sequence used in the vaccine, alleging the scientists “were not even aware of the mRNA sequence until after the patent application had already been filed.”

“For those who would seek to twist Moderna’s good faith application of U.S. patent law into something else, nothing could be further from the truth. Moderna remains the only company to have pledged not to enforce its COVID-19 intellectual property during the pandemic. Moreover, on September 29th, Moderna offered to resolve its dispute with NIAID by making the government co-owners of those patent applications that only listed Moderna scientists as inventors, including the right as co-owners to license the patents as they see fit,” the company added.

NIAID is part of the NIH.

Negotiations on the matter have stretched back over a year, the government official said.

Dr. Francis Collins told Reuters this week that Moderna “has made a serious mistake here in not providing the kind of co-inventorship credit to people who played a major role in the development of the vaccine that they are now making a fair amount of money off of,” adding that “we did our best to try to resolve this amicably and ultimately failed.”

“But we are not done. Clearly, this is something that the legal authorities are going to have to figure out,” he added.

TJ Mantooth, a partner at Hall Estill specializing in patents, told The Epoch Times in an email that the patent dispute could be settled by a court through examining whether all the inventors of the component are credited in the application.

“Each inventor of a patent has equal rights to the subject matter of the claims. The most common manner of handling multiple inventors is for each inventor to assign their rights to a single company/entity. However, it is possible that different assignees can concurrently have rights to license, sell, or make the subject matter of the patent claims. Hence, Moderna wants exclusive ownership of the patent by having only inventors that are bound to assign the rights of the patent to Moderna while NIH wants an ownership interest through having one or more inventors that are bound to assign the patent rights to the NIH,” Mantooth said.

Moderna expects to make between $15 billion and $18 billion this year from its COVID-19 vaccine. Naming government scientists as co-inventors could have enormous financial and legal ramifications.

If done, the government could authorize outside manufacturers to use the technology that Moderna is attempting to patent, according to Peter Maybarduk, director of Public Citizen’s Access to Medicines Program.

That includes granting use to the United Nations-backed Medicines Patent Pool, which was recently allowed to distribute information on Merck’s COVID-19 pill to manufacturers in 105 countries.

“NIH-Moderna is the most effective COVID-19 vaccine in the world. We, the people, paid for its development. Federal scientists pioneered the understanding of coronaviruses and then worked in partnership with Moderna,” Maybarduk said in a statement. “But Moderna has turned this people’s vaccine into a rich people’s vaccine; refusing to share technology with WHO or developing country manufacturers and sharing very few doses with COVAX while overcharging poor nations.”

Stéphane Bancel, Moderna’s CEO, said in a note this week that the company plans to supply up to 500 million doses to COVAX, or the COVID-19 Vaccines Global Access. He also noted that the company pledged last year not to enforce COVID-19 related patents as long as the pandemic goes on.

“Moderna is grateful for our collaboration with NIH scientists, and highly value their contributions. We remain focused on working together with our collaborators to address the pandemic,” Moderna said.

 

Why Is The Media Suddenly No Longer Interested In Blaming COVID Waves On Red States

By now, it’s become a truth universally acknowledged that the media must continually be in search of a governor and specific political ideology to blame when COVID cases rise.

Well, I’m old enough to remember when it was a truth universally acknowledged.

But that was way back in the summer, when cases were rising in the Southern states, mostly run by Republican governors who refused to acquiesce to demands from the media to mandate masks and vaccine passports.

The seasons have changed, however, and case trends along with it.

The Midwest and the Northeast are now the epicenter of the latest COVID surge.

And just like that, inexplicably, the media’s no longer interested in blaming local officials or the political beliefs of residents for the dramatic increase in COVID cases. Imagine that!

After scores of hysterical articles on Florida were written, despite the fact that the inevitable crash of cases and hospitalizations in the state almost immediately proved them wrong, interestingly the mass panic and hyperbole is noticeably absent of late.

There are a few possible explanations for this confusing lack of interest, and after reviewing the data from each state, some interesting conclusions can be drawn.

Most of the states have several things in common that seem to insulate them from the levels of severe criticism reserved for governors like Ron #DeathSantis.

Let’s see the lessons that can be learned from the COVID situation across the country.

Michigan

How many of you knew that Michigan now leads the country in recent case rates?

Probably not many!

Just for the sake of comparison, I Google searched “Florida leads the country in new covid cases” and here are a few of the top results:

Well that’s certainly different, isn’t it?!

Here’s how the curve of new cases looks in Michigan though:

In fact, Michigan is rapidly approaching the same heights it reached in April, when the CDC director said they needed to again implement lockdown measures to control the surge.

Yet I searched for Vanity Fair articles labeling Governor Gretchen Whitmer the “Angel of Death,” as they did with Ron DeSantis and came up with a big fat blank.

I’m not kidding. They literally called DeSantis the “Angel of Death” and said he was a “super-spreader event:”

Very strange, isn’t it?

It’s also strange that DeSantis has been accused of courting “anti-vaxxers” and not doing enough to encourage and promote vaccinations, while Florida has significantly higher vaccination rates in every single category.

As of today, here’s the key vaccination states for both states:

Literally in every single category, Florida’s had higher vaccine uptake. Yet only DeSantis has been accused of being “anti-vaxx,” because he…promoted a life-saving treatment that cuts hospitalizations and deaths by 78% in high risk populations.

Really odd, huh?

Minnesota

Minnesota currently ranks second in the U.S. in recent case rate, reporting an average of 700 cases per million residents over the past seven days, which has nearly doubled in just the past few weeks.

Minnesota also has a higher than average vaccination rate, with 67% of the entire population at least partially vaccinated, 78% of everyone 12 and up, 80% of the over 18 population and 99% of the 65+ population.

Has anyone seen an article accusing Governor Tim Walz of being the “Angel of Death?”

What’s even more impressive about Minnesota’s recent surge is that they’ve essentially equaled Texas’s recent summer peak:

It’s fair to ask at this point, but did a major online media outlet say that Greg Abbot was running a “death cult?”

The answer, as always, is yes. Yes of course they did.

You’ll undoubtedly be shocked to learn that I searched for “Tim Walz death cult” and didn’t get any results, even though Minnesota has reported more cumulative COVID cases than Texas after adjusting for population. Bewildering.

New Mexico & Oregon

The state with the third highest recent case rate is New Mexico, who you might remember from the glowing article published in September 2020 in Scientific American, extolling their virtues for “controlling” the spread of COVID.

Infamously, that article was written before cases immediately went up 2,450%. But back to this year.

As True Believers in The Science™, New Mexico is one of the few states remaining to have a statewide mask mandate for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals, which has been in place for nearly three months.

Shockingly, cases have nearly doubled since:

And naturally, as a result of this dramatic success, they extended the mandate just a few days ago.

Confusingly, New Mexico’s currently reporting higher case numbers than neighboring Colorado and Utah, states that have followed nearly identical curves for twenty months now:

I’ll admit I didn’t check, but I have significant doubts that Michelle Lujan Grisham has been accused of running a death cult or being a dangerous “anti-vaxxer.”

Meanwhile, Oregon’s Governor Kate Brown has seen deaths skyrocket to the highest levels of the pandemic, currently ranking in the top 10 in the country despite an active mask mandate and above average vaccination rate:

Nothing to see here either!

Vermont

One of the more remarkable surges is happening in Vermont, which currently ranks fifth in the country in population adjusted case rate.

Cases in Vermont peaked last winter at 277 per million in January of this year. Their recent case rate peak this month is 591 cases per million.

Remember, this is after world famous expert Dr. Anthony Fauci said that getting just 50% of adults vaccinated would make surges a thing of the past:

Vermont has 93% of adults with some level of vaccination. Cases are double what they were last winter.

And while Governor Phil Scott is a Republican, 66.1% of state residents voted for Joe Biden.

Somehow I doubt Salon will be updating their story on “unvaccinated Trumpers spreading Delta” given what’s happened in Vermont:

Hard to blame “unvaccinated Trumpers” in a state where only 30% of people voted for Trump and 93% of adults are vaccinated, so you won’t be seeing any stories from the media placing the blame for COVID on Vermont’s political ideology.

Sure does poke some holes in the obscene push for vaccine passports as well, doesn't it?

So what are the lessons we can learn from this? Well, if you belong to the proper ideology, you can avoid being accused of running a death cult, being the Angel of Death or courting anti-vaxxers by promoting monoclonal antibodies. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have mask mandates or have lower than average vaccination rates, you can avoid most media criticism.

Four of the top five states in current case rates are either run by Democratic governors or where the populace overwhelmingly voted for Joe Biden. All are also seeing hospitalizations rising significantly too.

It’s remarkable how it works, isn’t it? When cases are rising in areas where the incorrect set of political beliefs is dominant, it’s a moral failing that would be easily preventable if masks were mandated or vaccination rates improved.

When cases rise in areas with the correct set of media approved political beliefs, no matter what the vaccination rates are or mask wearing rules, it’s an unfortunate barrier to be overcome and an unavoidable increase likely due to seasonal effects and infinitesimal percentages of unvaccinated Trumpers. Or unmasked kids.

This was an entirely predictable sequence of events, and exactly the same pattern we saw last year. Cases rose in the South during the summer, leading to mass criticism of free-dumb loving Covidiots, only for colder climates to take off a few months later to deafening silence.

The media never learns. Purposefully never learns. They’re unable to accept that the spread of a highly infectious respiratory virus is not a moral examination to be passed or that there’s essentially no correlation with government intervention and better COVID outcomes.

CDC Finally, Quietly, Begrudgingly Releases Natural Immunity Numbers and Now We Know Why They Waited

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has one overarching agenda right now. It’s the same agenda across the entirety of the Biden-Harris regime. It’s an agenda shared by mainstream media, Big Tech, academia, the healthcare industry, and anyone else who is beholden to Big Pharma. That agenda is singular in focus and requires suppression of any information that may act as a roadblock to their evil plans.

The agenda, of course, is to vaccinate every man, woman, and child in the United States. Nothing, especially the truth, will be allowed to stand in their way.

This is why the CDC has conspicuously avoided updating the numbers on their website pertaining to natural immunity. It is information that could contribute to opposition to both the Covid-19 vaccines themselves as well as the mandates that are rapidly popping up across the country. They withheld this update, which requires approximately three minutes to accomplish, for five months. Now we finally know why. As Kyle Becker reported:

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has quietly acknowledged that far more people have natural immunity than was earlier reported. The CDC quietly acknowledged that a staggering 146.6 million people have been infected by the Sars-CoV-2 virus and have survived it.

The CDC updated its May figures in October after declining to update the numbers for five months.

The CDC estimates that 124 million of the 146.6 million infections resulted in “symptomatic illnesses,” although it is unclear why only one in four infections sought out medical treatment. The CDC further estimated that there were 7.5 million hospitalizations, although ‘hospitalizations’ may include routine treatment that happened to turn up a positive Covid-19 test, greatly inflating the figures.

Most inflated of all are the 921,000 “estimated total deaths.” The CDC reports “Covid-related deaths,” and not deaths caused by Covid-19. That is because 94% of Covid-related deaths had serious underlying medical conditions, such as heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. While Covid-19 may have been a contributing causal factor to the timing of a patient’s death, the vast majority occurred in patients who were immunocompromised or elderly. The average age of Covid-related death in 2020 was slightly under life expectancy at 77 years old.

Even though 146.6 million is a vast number of Americans comprising at least 44 percent of the U.S. population, it may be an underestimate, based on the CDC’s earlier calculations. The CDC’s figures estimated in May that at least 120 million Americans had been infected with Covid-19. Because the CDC estimated (and continues to estimate) there have been at least four Covid infections for every case reported, then based on its report of 46.9 million cases, then there would be 187.6 million Americans who were infected and thus possess ‘natural immunity.’

It has been well established that natural immunity is far superior to the so-called “protections” offered by the experiment Covid-19 injections. Despite this, the CDC and other health organizations have chosen to ignore natural immunity altogether because acknowledging it could derail their universal vaccine agenda. Their efforts are working since less than half of Americans are aware of any of the abundant data showing natural immunity works.

One does not need to be an “anti-vaxxer” to acknowledge that natural immunity is better than the jabs. But it goes further than that with data pointing to a possibility that is very inconvenient for vaxx-nannies: The “vaccines” may actually weaken the immune system permanently and take away the natural immunity previously infected Americans have developed.

The CDC provided several new datapoints about Covid-19 with its October update to the virus’s ‘burden’ on the American public. Below, it shows the estimated incidence rate for infections, symptomatic illness, hospitalizations and deaths by age group.

Unsurprisingly, it shows that the risk of Covid falls most heavily on the elderly. The CDC estimated there were 700,882 Covid-related deaths for those 65 years and older, while that figure fell to just 645 individuals under age 18 – under one percent of all deaths in that age group.

The CDC’s infection, symptomatic illness, hospitalizations and death rates per age group is provided below.

The risk of Covid-19 quite evidently is not equal for Americans due to disparities in age group, gender, or health condition. The one-size-fits-all approach of universal vaccination, while ignoring the real scientific evidence that demonstrates natural immunity against Covid-19, ignores the scientific data.

Why doesn’t the CDC acknowledge the widespread natural immunity that is demonstrated by its own data? One has to conclude that the CDC isn’t just ignoring the inconvenient truth, it is supporting a federal vaccine mandate that ignores Americans’ constitutional rights.

If the CDC cared about healthcare, they’d embrace natural immunity and acknowledge the risks associated with the injections. But healthcare is an afterthought to the CDC. 100% of their concern is for the vaccine agenda, science and lives be damned.

Of the 27 scientists who wrote a letter in The Lancet medical journal dismissing the possibility that Covid-19 originated from a Wuhan lab, 26 have links to its Chinese researchers, their colleagues or its benefactors, a new investigation has revealed.

On March 7 last year, the influential journal published the letter in which the 27 scientists said they 'strongly condemned conspiracy theories' surrounding the origins of the coronavirus pandemic that has impacted all corners of the world.

All debate into whether Covid-19 had man-made origins or leaked from the lab in Wuhan - the Chinese city that was ground-zero for the virus - was effectively shut down by the letter.

Of the 27 scientists who wrote a letter in The Lancet medical journal dismissing the possibility that Covid-19 originated from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (pictured), 26 have links to its Chinese researchers, their colleagues or its benefactors, a new investigation has revealed 

However, an investigation by The Daily Telegraph newspaper into the signatories has found that 26 of the 27 had some link to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, where the leak was suspected - calling into question their impartiality.

Signatories include Dr Peter Daszak, the British president of EcoHealth Alliance, which funnelled money into controversial research at a Wuhan Institute of Virology, and UK Government scientific adviser Sir Jeremy Farrar.

Only one - Dr Ronald Corley, a microbiology expert from Boston University - has been found to have no links back to funders or researchers at the Wuhan institute.

Below, the MailOnline looks at those signatories named by The Telegraph's investigation - and other key figures and organisations - to have links with the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Dr Peter Daszak

Zoologist, EcoHealth Alliance, New York

The orchestrator of the letter, British zoologist Peter Daszak, was already found to have a conflict of interest through him being president of the US-based EcoHealth Alliance, which has funded research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Despite declaring no conflicts of interest at the time the letter was penned, The Lancet was forced to publish an addendum to the letter acknowledging Daszak's connection to EcoHealth Alliance.

The letter played a key role in suppressing early debate on the pandemic's origins, but its credibility has since been questioned after details emerged of the involvement of Peter Daszak (pictured), a major financial backer of the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIU)

In an email made public through Freedom of Information requests, Mr Daszak is said to have revealed on February 8 that he composed the letter after being asked by 'our collaborators' in China for a 'show of support'.

Scandal hit Dr Daszak has since been removed from the UN-backed Lancet commission looking at the origins of the pandemic.

However, The Telegraph has reported that five other signatories also worked for the same organisation. None of whom declared their involvement.

Two such signatories include Dr William Karesh, an infectious disease expert and Professor Hume Field, veterinary sciences expert. 

Dr Jeremy Farrar

Tropical medicine expert and SAGE adviser & The Wellcome Trust, London

The newspaper also found that three of the signatories were from Britain's Wellcome Trust, which has also previously funded research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Signatory Sir Jeremy Farrar, a member of the UK's Sage and the director of the Trust, has in the past published work with George Gao, the head of the Chinese Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, whom he has described as 'an old friend'.

Dr Gao, who studied at Oxford University, is a former research assistant at the Wellcome Trust. Mr Daszak has claimed Dr Gao supported his nomination to the National Academy of Sciences, according to The Telegraph.

The Chinese scientist also has connections to Shi Zhengli, the scientist who has become known as 'batwoman' on account of her research into bat coronaviruses in Wuhan. Her team discovered a virus in 2013 which is the closest ever previously found to Sars-Cov-2 - the virus that causes Covid-19.

Two other signatories - Dr Josie Golding and Professor Mike Turner - are known to have current or past connections with the Wellcome Trust.

Dr Golding is the Trust's Epidemics lead, while Prof. Turner is a Parasitology expert at the University of Glasgow, and formerly worked with the Trust.

Speaking to the MailOnline in June on the lab leak theory, Dr Farrar said: 'The origins of Sars-Cov-2 are not yet certain — it is possible the origin will never be fully established — but nature is a powerful force and, in my view, the most likely scenario is that the virus crossed from animals to humans and then evolved in humans.

'The best scientific evidence available to date points to this. It is most likely it crossed the species barrier to infect and then adapt to humans at some point in 2019, but there are other possibilities which cannot be completely ruled out and retaining an open mind is critical.

'There is no place for unsubstantiated rumour, or conspiracy theories often fuelled for political purposes.'

Professor Linda Saif

Microbiology expert, The Ohio State University

Microbiology expert Professor Linda Saif, another signatory, spoke at a workshop in Wuhan in May 2017 along with Dr Shi and Dr Gao. The workshop was partly organised by the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

The level of security in Chinese labs was among the topics discussed at the workshop, while Professor Saif's talk covered animal coronaviruses.

The Global Virome Project

Two more signatories on The Lancet letter are in the leadership team of the Global Virome Project - an organisations whose goal is to detect and identify 99 percent or more of potential zoonotic viral threats.

Mr Daszak is the treasurer of the Global Virome Project, while Dr Gao helped launch it, with EcoHealth Alliance as one of its partners.

The Global Virome Project took over from the Predict project, which discovered more than 1,000 unique viruses in animals and humans.

But according to The Telegraph, the Predict project was also found to have part-funded contentious work by Wuhan researchers on bat coronaviruses, which were altered to see if they could infect humans.

The funds for the research were provided by the EcoHealth Alliance.

Professor John Mackenzie

Professor John Mackenzie

Tropical infectious disease expert Professor John Mackenzie who works out of Curtin University in Perth, Australia, was another of the signatories.

The investigation has found that he did not disclose that he was still listed as a committee member of the the Scientific Advisory Committee of Centre for Emerging Infectious Diseases at the Wuhan institute.

Professor Kanta Subbarao

Virology expert, The University of Melbourne, Australia

Professor Kanta Subbarao Virology expert, The University of Melbourne, Australia

Professor Kanta Subbarao, another signatory from the University of Melbourne, spoke at a conference on emerging diseases in Wuhan in 2016 which was part-organised by the  the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Prof. Subbarao was still chief of the US-based National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAD) Emerging Respiratory Viruses Section.

Five more of the letter's signatories have all been found by the investigation to have published articles with Professor Ralph Baric.

Professor Prof Ralph Baric 

While Prof Baric was omitted from the list of signatories, he was collaborating with Shi Zhengli and the Wuhan Institute of Virology, researching genetically manipulated coronaviruses to see if they could be made to infect humans.

Earlier this year, Republicans in the US argued that the virus was possibly genetically modified, and cite an interview with Baric in which he said it was possible to engineer a virus, 'without leaving a trace.'

Baric was initially asked to add his name to the letter by Mr Daszak, with emails between the pair recently coming to light ahead of The Lancet letter's publication, showing that the pair decided to mask their association with the Wuhan institute to avoid looking 'self-serving'.

Mr Daszak told Prof Baric that he would publish the letter in such a way that it doesn't 'link it back to our collaboration so we maximise an independent voice'.

A number of those who signed the letter have since changed their stance with some calling for a full inquiry into the origins of Covid-19.

Speaking to the MailOnline in June, Professor Peter Palese - a microbiology expert from Icahn School of Medicine, New York, said: 'I believe a thorough investigation about the origin of the Covid-19 virus is needed.

'A lot of disturbing information has surfaced since the Lancet letter I signed, so I want to see answers covering all questions.'

Asked how he was originally approached to sign the letter and what new information had come to light specifically, Professor Palese declined to comment.

Professor Stanley Perlman

Microbiology expert, University of Iowa

Signatory Prof Stanley Perlman, of the University of Iowa, told The Telegraph: 'It is difficult to eliminate a possible lab leak as part of the process, so this still needs to be considered.'

Professor Charles Calisher

Microbiolgy expert, Colorado State University

Professor Charles Calisher, who signed the letter downplayed the letter to The Telegraph, saying that the intention behind it was never to suggest Covid-19 might have not originated in nature, but rather that there was a lack of data to make such a claim.

Professor Bernard Roizman told the Wall Street Journal in May that since signing the letter, he has become convinced that the deadly virus was released by a 'sloppy' scientists.

Out of the 27 signatories of the Lancet Letter, The Telegraph reported that it could find no connection between just one and the Wuhan Institute of Virology - Dr Ronald Corley from Boston University.

Reacting to the findings of the investigation, researchers into the lab-leak theory who were blocked and branded conspiracy theorists called it an 'extreme cover up' on Friday, the newspaper reported.

Molecular biologist Prof Richard Ebright, of Rutgers University, fought to uncover the truth behind the Covid pandemic.

He told The Telegraph that after the June addendum that disclosed that Daszak had connections to the Wuhan institute, the other 27 signatories were invited to offer any of their own competing interests.

'Incredibly, only Daszak appears to have done so,' Ebright told the newspaper.

'Conflicts of interest were not reported for any of the other 26 signers of the letter – not even those with obviously material undisclosed conflicts such as EcoHealth employees and Predict contractors.'

Angus Dalgleish, professor of oncology at St Georges, University of London, warned that it could now be too late to fully learn the origins of Covid-19 because of what he called 'stalling', but remained hopeful that the evidence 'is out there'.

DID COVID LEAK FROM A WUHAN LAB? THE EVIDENCE FOR AND AGAINST 

Evidence for Wuhan lab-leak theory

An article in the respected Science journal on May 14 kick-started the surge in interest for the lab-leak theory.

Some 18 experts wrote in the journal that 'we must take hypotheses about both natural and laboratory spillovers seriously until we have sufficient data'.

Later that month, a study by British Professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr Birger Sørensen claimed it had 'prima facie evidence of retro-engineering in China' for a year.

The study included accusations of 'deliberate destruction, concealment or contamination of data' at Chinese labs.

It followed statements from the WHO Director General, US and EU that greater clarity about the origins of this pandemic is necessary and feasible to achieve.

Previously, the theory had been dismissed as conspiracy by most experts, partly because of its association with President Donald Trump.

President Joe Biden in May ordered a full investigation into the origin of the pandemic virus and demanded scientists work out whether there is truth to the theory.

The head of the World Health Organization insisted just a day earlier that the theory that Covid emerged from a Wuhan lab has not been ruled out — as he said China should help solve the mystery out of 'respect' for the dead.

The body's director-general, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, suggested that Beijing had not cooperated fully as he urged more 'transparency' in the continuing investigation.

Evidence against the theory

Several other sects of the scientific community continue to suggest the virus could only be natural in origin.

A series of recent papers pointed to the virus evolving in animals before being transmitted to humans, in the same way as all other previously discovered coronaviruses.

The first study, published in Scientific Reports, showed some 47,000 wild animals from 38 species were sold across four markets in Wuhan between May 2017 and November 2019.

The authors, including Dr Chris Newman, an evolutionary ecologist at Oxford University, claimed the evidence showed the conditions for animal-to-human transmission were in place in Wuhan.

But they acknowledged there was no proof Sars-CoV-2 was present or originated in any of these animals.

A joint World Health Organization-China investigation also concluded it was 'very likely' the virus jumped from bats to humans via an as-yet-unknown intermediary animal.

The anti-hydroxychloroquine campaign was based in politics, not science: biologist

“What is going on [in the banning of hydroxychloroquine] is the equivalent of denying everyone in America antibiotics,” Dr. Parks said.

Hydroxychloroquine functions together with Zinc, she explained, to enter “into the cells and stop the virus from replicating.” She also pointed to other products such as green tea, quercetin, or quinine in tonic water, which can have effects similar to hydroxychloroquine. If used at extremely low doses, HCQ may “help prevent transmission and infection,” and it will “stay in the body [for] fifty days.”

Parks mentioned several studies, including one from the Henry Ford Medical System in Michigan, which have found the mortality rate of patients who have taken HCQ reduced by 50 percent or more.

With all this scientific research out there, Parks asked, “Why hasn’t this information been disseminated?” She said “it was shut down for what I can only say is purely political reasons.”

Parks emphasized that the main COVID injections from Pfizer and Moderna are “almost a form of gene therapy, except, instead of putting in a gene your body needs, they’re putting in a viral gene.”

Parks said that one of the main adverse reactions to she shots are anaphylactic shocks, which are caused by liposomes which are “highly reactive.” She stated that in “various reports right now, there are over three thousand [cases of] anaphylactic reactions.”

Another common reaction that occurs from the shots, Parks mentioned, are bruising and rashes, which is caused by the body attacking cells that are injected through the viral protein in the vaccines. Parks notes that when one receives a second shot and gets the virus again the body may produce antibodies which attack the body itself.

Parks concluded that “there’s many different mechanisms by which [the vaccine] can potentially cause adverse reactions or long-term chronic disease.”

Think about this: the world’s nr 1 vaccine dealer guarantees a global pandemic to occur in the next few years, and his wife said we should all fear an engineered virus that is ‘on its way’. Then they organize an exercise for an imminent global pandemic and say vaccines will be the only solution. Next Bill Gates tweets how excited he is about selling vaccines in the next year. Immediately after that, the announced pandemic breaks out.

Indeed, right away Bill Gates proclaims that the only solution for humanity is to buy his vaccines…

11. 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic Predicted In 2013

Back in 2013 a musician wrote a song called PANDEMIC. In his lyrics he described a global pandemic that kills millions, shuts down economies and gives rise to riots.

His song literally described in great detail what we are seeing in our world today, seven years later.

He even mentioned the exact year of the pandemic: 2020, and the specific type of virus: a coronavirus. (6)

This is a line in his lyrics from 2013:

‘2020 combined with CoronaVirus, bodies stacking.’

This song also predicted the riots that are now raging throughout America:

‘The State is rioting, using the street outside. It’s coming to your windows.’

How could this musician have known in 2013 that a coronavirus pandemic would break out in 2020, and that during this pandemic riots would erupt? He explains:

‘I did research back in 2012, and read the so called “conspiracy theories”. You know, those investigations the media doesn’t want us to look into. According to those theories pandemics were bound to happen in the decade of 2020 – 2030. So I wrote the song Pandemic about it.’

12. Global Preparedness Monitoring Board In Sept. 2019: ‘Get Ready For A Global Coronavirus Pandemic’

In September 2019 – also right before the outbreak – the Global Preparedness Monitoring Board released a report titled ‘A World At Risk’.

It stressed the need to be prepared for… a coronavirus outbreak!

On the cover of the report is the picture of a coronavirus and people wearing face masks.

In the report we read the following interesting paragraph:

‘The United Nations (including WHO) conducts at least two system-wide training and simulation exercises, including one for covering the deliberate release of a lethal respiratory pathogen.’

Did you catch that?

They have been practicing for a deliberate release of a lethal respiratory pathogen.

13. Outbreak From China Announced

In 2018 The Institute for Disease Modeling made a video in which they show a flu virus originating in China, from the area of Wuhan, and spreading all over the world, killing millions. They called it ‘A Simulation For A Global Flu Pandemic.’ That is exactly what happened, two years later.

Why did they say it would come from China? Why not Africa, where far more diseases are present? Or why not South America? Or India? How could they know there would be a flu virus coming from China and even show Wuhan as the originating area, that would infect the whole world?

Was This Coronavirus Engineered?

Where did the virus come from? One of the world’s leading experts in bioweapons is Dr. Francis Boyle. He is convinced it originated from a bio-weapon lab in Wuhan, the Bio Safety Lab Level 4.

This facility is specialized in the development of… coronaviruses!

They take existing viruses and ‘weaponize’ them, meaning they make them far more dangerous, to be used as a biological weapon.

Now comes the most interesting part:

14. In 2015 Anthony Fauci Gave This Very Lab 3,7 Million Dollars.

Figure this: the same man who guaranteed a surprise outbreak of a virus in the next two years, gave almost 4 million dollars to a lab that develops coronaviruses.

In the short clip below you can see a journalist ask president Trump about this grant given by Fauci to the Wuhan lab.

There are however more options in Wuhan where this virus could have originated from. Some believe it came from the Wuhan Virology Institute, where they also work on weaponizing coronaviruses.

15. Chinese Biological Experiments To Infect Humans With Coronavirus Exposed In 2015 By Italian State Media

Five years ago, Italian state owned media Company, RAI – Radiotelevisione Italiana, – exposed dark efforts by China on viruses.

The video, which was broadcast in November, 2015, showed how Chinese scientists were doing biological experiments on a SARS connected virus believed to be Coronavirus, derived from bats and mice, asking whether it was worth the risk in order to be able to modify the virus for compatibility with human organisms.

16. Movies Predicted The Coronavirus Pandemic

Predictive programming is the process of informing the population about events that are soon to occur.

The past years several movies and television series were produced, about… a global coronavirus pandemic!

The film ‘Dead Plague’ depicts a global pandemic with a coronavirus and even mentions hydroxychloroquine as the cure.

Another film called ’Contagion’ shows how a coronavirus spreads globally with social distancing, face masks, lock-downs, washing of hands etc. as a result.

Literally everything we see now, is predicted in detail in these movies.

17. Pandemic Depicted During Olympics Summergames In 2012

Talking about predictive programming: during the opening show of the Summer Olympics in 2012, a coronavirus pandemic was played out for the eyes of the whole world.

Dozens of hospital beds, large numbers of nurses becoming puppets of a controlling system, death lurking about, a demonic giant rising up over the world, and the whole theatre was lit up in such a way that seen from the sky it looked like a coronavirus.

Why did the Olympic Games show a coronavirus pandemic, in their opening show?

18. Worldwide Lockdown Predicted In 2008

The author and investigator Robin de Ruiter predicted in 2008 that there would come a global lockdown.

He said the purpose of this would be to create a new world of authoritarian control.

Because much of what he wrote back in 2008 is now happening right in front of our eyes, this book has been republished.

19. Journalists Predicted Planned Pandemic

In 2014 the investigative journalist Harry Vox predicted a planned global pandemic and said why the ‘ruling class’ would do such thing:

‘They will stop at nothing to complete their toolkit of control. One of the things that had been missing from their toolkit is quarantines and curfews. The plan is to get hundreds of thousands of people infected with it and create the next phase of control.’ (7)

This renown researcher refers to a famous document by the Rockefeller Foundation in which everything we see happening now is literally predicted in great detail: the global pandemic, the lock-downs, the collapse of the economy and the imposing of authoritarian control.

It’s all described with terrifying accuracy… ten years before it happened!

The document is titled ‘Scenario for the Future of Technology and International Development’. (9)

That says it all: a scenario for the future. It has a chapter called ‘LockStep’ in which a global pandemic is reported as if it happened in the past, but which is clearly intended as a rehearsal for the future.

The ‘Scenario for the Future’ continues with comparing two different responses to their predicted pandemic: the USA only ‘strongly discouraged’ people from flying, while China enforced mandatory quarantine for all citizens.

The first response is accused of spreading the virus even more, while the imposing of a suffocating lock-down is praised. Then it goes on to describe the implementation of totalitarian control:

“During the pandemic, national leaders around the world flexed their authority and imposed airtight rules and restrictions, from the mandatory wearing of face masks to body-temperature checks at the entries to communal spaces like train stations and supermarkets.”

Clearly the flexing of authority is the desired response. But it gets worse, according to this ‘Scenario of the Future’:

‘Even after the pandemic faded, this more authoritarian control and oversight of citizens and their activities stuck and even intensified.’

‘In developed countries, this heightened oversight took many forms: biometric IDs for all citizens, for example, and tighter regulation of key industries whose stability was deemed vital to national interests.’

Handbook For Global Control

Now that the announced pandemic is indeed here, the same Rockefeller Foundation came forward with step two: a handbook on how to implement new control systems during this pandemic. Only when all the required control networks are in place, can the world open up again.

 

When you combine the two Rockefeller documents, you see the plan:

1) First they announce a global pandemic with a coronavirus and say what it should lead to: a whole new level of authoritarian control.
2) Secondly they give practical steps on how to apply this control system.

‘In order to fully control the Covid-19 epidemic, we need to test the majority of the population on a weekly basis.’

According to their ‘Scenario of the future’ the entire world population should get a digital ID that indicates who has received all the vaccines. Without sufficient vaccinations, access to schools, concerts, churches, public transport etc. will be denied.

Now in 2020 that is exactly what Bill Gates and many governments are calling for.

Bill Gates also made it clear that only people who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 should be allowed to travel, go to school, attend meetings and work. (11)

All Predictions Were Done Shortly Before It Happened

Note that every single prediction of this pandemic was announced a few years or even months before it happened. That is significant.

Never in history did anything like this occur, on such a global scale.

Nobody Wants These Organizations

Not a single human on the earth has voted for these organizations to even exist, let alone take full control of our lives, families, communities, jobs, health, industries, etc. Yet they present themselves as our ‘world leaders’ who are planning our entire future.

Canadian doctor blasts corona hysteria: ‘Greatest hoax ever perpetrated on an unsuspecting public’

“I’m a medical specialist in pathology which includes virology. I trained at Cambridge University in the UK…the bottom line is simply this: There is utterly unfounded public hysteria driven by the media and politicians. It’s outrageous. This is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on an unsuspecting public. There is absolutely nothing that can be done to contain this virus,” said Dr. Roger Hodkinson, at an Edmonton, Alberta, City Council Community and Public Services Committee meeting held on November 13 (8:25:58 mark).

“Other than protecting older, more vulnerable people, it should be thought of as nothing more than a bad flu season. This is not Ebola. It’s not SARS. It’s politics playing medicine and that’s a very dangerous game.”

In his commentary to the committee, Dr. Hodkinson ripped mask-wearing, saying that besides being ineffective, masks are not properly worn by the “lemmings” who put them on.

“Masks are utterly useless. There is no evidence base for their effectiveness whatsoever. Paper masks and fabric masks are simply virtue-signaling. They’re not even worn effectively most of the time,” said Hodkinson.

“It’s utterly ridiculous. Seeing these unfortunate, uneducated people – I’m not saying that in a pejorative sense – seeing these people walking around like lemmings, obeying without any knowledge base, to put the mask on their face.”

Hodkinson received his medical degree from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom and also served as a chairman of a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Committee in Ottawa, Ontario.

He is currently the CEO of Western Medical Assessments in Edmonton, is a Royal College-certified pathologist in Canada, has worked at the University of Alberta, and runs a North Carolina molecular diagnostics company called MutantDx.

Hodkinson’s commentary also mentioned the Great Barrington Declaration, which to date has been signed by over 12,000 medical professionals who have concerns about the “damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing COVID-19 policies.”

Hodkinson ripped so-called social distancing as “useless” because according to him, “COVID is spread by aerosols which travel 30 meters or so before landing.”

“Enclosures have had such terrible unintended consequences. Everywhere should be opened tomorrow as well as was stated in the Great Barrington Declaration that I circulated prior to this meeting,” said Hodkinson.

​​​Hodkinson went onto say that what is currently needed to stop COVID-19 is for people to stay home if they are feeling sick, eat some “chicken noodle soup,” and make sure those who are vulnerable are given Vitamin D.

“There is no action of any kind needed other than what happened last year when we felt unwell. We stayed home, we took chicken noodle soup, we didn’t visit granny and we decided when we would return to work. We didn’t need anyone to tell us,” said Hodkinson.

“All that should be done is to protect the vulnerable and to give them all in the nursing homes that are under your control, give them all 3,000 to 5,000 international units of vitamin D every day which has been shown to radically reduce the likelihood of Infection.”

Toward the end of his commentary, Hodkinson went after excessive COVID-19 testing, which he says he is “in the business of,” saying that a positive result does not mean a “clinical infection.”

“I’m in the business of testing for COVID. I do want to emphasize that positive test results do not, underlined in neon, mean a clinical infection,” said Hodkinson.

“It’s simply driving public hysteria and all testing should stop. Unless you’re presenting to the hospital with some respiratory problem.”

The November 13 meeting held in Edmonton City Council chambers saw a steady stream of the public join in virtually to have their voices heard regarding the city’s face-covering bylaw.

At the provincial level, Alberta’s Premier Jason Kenney has declined to introduce a province-wide mask mandate and has instead left it up to each municipality to come up with their own laws.

The Edmonton mandatory mask bylaw went into effect on August 1 and is set to expire December 31, but city administrators have asked the city council to extend this until May.

Only three out of 12 Edmonton city councillors voted against the cities mandatory mask bylaw: Mike Nickel, Jon Dziadyk, and Tony Caterina. Edmonton Mayor Don Iveson has been a strong advocate of the bylaw.

Alberta has registered 451 deaths attributed to COVID-19 to date. The average age of those who have died is 82 years old, which is on par with Canada’s official life expectancy statistics.

Despite the seemingly large number of deaths, the province's statistics clearly show that only 10 people have died from COVID-19 alone. The majority of the deaths, or 325, are listed as having three or more comorbidities.

At the end of Hodkinson’s commentary, he spoke about Alberta’s COVID-19 statistics, saying that the “risk of death under 65 in this province is one in 300,000. One in 300,000.”

“The scale of the response that you are undertaking with no evidence for it is utterly ridiculous given the consequences of acting in a way that you’re proposing. All kinds of suicides, business closures, funerals, weddings etc. It’s simply outrageous! It’s just another bad flu and you’ve got to get your minds around that,” said Hodkinson.

“Let people make their own decisions. You should be totally out of the business of medicine. You’re being led down the garden path by the chief medical officer of health for this province. I am absolutely outraged that this has reached this level. It should all stop tomorrow.”
